Strengthening Management Committees
This annual seminar arises out of the Charity's concern to strengthen the voluntary sector at a time when Government is increasingly looking to charities to deliver services to the community. Using a combination of presentations, case studies, discussion and some group work, Strengthening Management Committees is aimed at management committee members, trustees and chairs of local charities. The convener is Julia Kaufmann OBE, the Charity's principal advisor for the voluntary sector, and former director of BBC Children in Need.
