Type of Support

Grants from the Charity are awarded for the following:

Core costs

A general contribution to the core funding of an organisation that operates specifically with young people in the Charity's beneficial area

Salary costs

A contribution towards salary costs for roles that engage with young people either in the delivery, planning or coordination of a project or organisation

Direct project costs

Costs associated with the direct delivery of specific projects

Apprenticeships

A contribution towards the salary costs of apprentices where statutory funding programmes create a shortfall for an organisation.  Eligible apprenticeships are those in voluntary sector organisations in vocations not covered by government programmes.

Equipment

A contribution towards specialist pieces of equipment that are not paid for by statutory sources.  This does not include IT equipment.

Buildings & Refurbishments

Capital contributions towards buildings that are used to further the Charity's objectives.
